Hurricane Katrina has dealt a devastating blow to our fellow Americans in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and many other areas in the Gulf Coast. The level of pain and suffering is not only unprecedented, but the total loss may not be known for some time to come. The massive healing and rebuilding effort will test the hearts and patience of people everywhere. The effects of this calamity will touch every individual in the world.

We at Denarris Music would like to encourage all who are willing to
get involved. Whether it is a donation of some kind, a prayer or word of encouragement to those in need, no gesture of compassion is too small. When one of us is injured, we are all injured. When one of us is in pain, we are all in pain.

Denarris grew up at the crossroads of East and West Coast sensibilities and was exposed to many different styles of music. He credits such artistic giants as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder with shaping his eclectic style. Other influences include masters from across the musical spectrum: Henry Mancini, Spyro Gyra, Earth, Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, Chicago and The Who can be heard in Denarris’ writing.
